SPECIALIZING IN GRIEF, END‑OF‑LIFE SUPPORT, & MEANING‑MAKING AT EVERY STAGE OF LIFE

Hi. I'm Andraya and this is Aslan aka Mo.
Mo is a cancer survivor. The trauma he experienced having surgery to remove cancer has made him a bit skiddish when he first meets you but his ability to sense other trauma survivors and bond with them makes him an unbelievably special soul to meet.
Mo is in a herd with 5 other majestic, loving goats that are always willing to welcome a friendly human in their herd.
I blend traditional psychotherapy with animal‑assisted work and art therapy practices. I support people across the full arc of life — those navigating end‑of‑life transitions along with their loved ones, as well as those actively shaping or reshaping the life they want to live. My approach is warm, nonjudgemental, and collaborative, inviting clients into healing spaces rooted in nature, creativity, and authentic connection. Whether through time with goats, the grounding presence of the outdoors, or the reflective process of art‑making, I support people to reconnect to their inner wisdom and move toward lives that are aligned with their own core values.

I'm approved to bill Regence (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), Optum, United, and OHP Open Card. I can provide Super Bills for other insurance carriers. I am currently in the application process with several other carriers. You may contact me if you do not see your insurance listed.

Pottery has a way of mirroring the end-of-life process — a slow, intentional shaping of what matters most, a surrender to forces we can guide but never fully control, and a final firing that transforms something fragile into something enduring.

Just as clay holds the imprint of every touch, a person’s life holds the marks of their relationships, their joys, their grief, and their growth.

When a piece is finished, it becomes a tangible reminder that even after someone’s physical presence leaves in death, the essence of who they are remains in memories and love — a lasting gift for the loved ones who continue their life journeys.

Goats have a way of meeting people exactly where they are, without pretense or expectation — as if they can sense the quiet places inside us that words don’t always reach. In therapy, being with them in nature invites a kind of softening: the slowing of breath, the loosening of guardedness, the feeling of being seen without being evaluated.

Their steady presence, their curiosity, their groundedness in their own bodies can help us reconnect with parts of ourselves that feel forgotten or protected.

Out on the land, surrounded by trees and sky, many people find that the goats become gentle mirrors — reflecting back calm, authenticity, and the reminder that healing often begins in the simple act of being witnessed by another living being.
